The 47.25" x 23.625" work surface is made from 1-inch-thick melamine with ABS edge banding. The melamine wipes clean easily and holds up to daily use. At just under 24 inches deep, this desk fits in tighter spaces or against walls without dominating the room.

Electric Height Adjustment

The motor adjusts height at about 1 inch per second using straightforward up and down controls. Press the button, and the desk moves smoothly to your preferred height. You can switch from sitting to standing in seconds, which means you're more likely to actually use the feature instead of leaving it at one height all day.

Build Quality

The base uses powder-coated steel with 2-stage telescopic legs. The load capacity is 154 lbs, which handles a monitor, laptop, keyboard, and typical desk items without problems. The frame feels solid once you've assembled it and doesn't wobble when you're typing or leaning on the surface.

The Controls

Simple up and down buttons with no programming or memory settings. Just push up to raise and push down to lower. The control panel mounts to the underside of the desktop, where it's easy to reach but stays out of your way.
